This area not only showcases traditional Arabian architectural styles but also served as a significant trade hub in the Red Sea region after the opening of the Suez Canal. The ancient markets and labyrinthine alleys reflect the city's rich cultural heritage, making every stroll a historical journey through time.

Day 3: Red Sea Adventure - Boat Excursion and City Sights
Jeddah, located along the Red Sea, is renowned for its world-class diving spots. We will embark on a boat trip to explore this region with the longest coastline in the world. You can choose to dive, snorkel, or enjoy fishing and night fishing, fully immersing yourself in the Red Sea's rich marine resources. After returning from the boat excursion, take a stroll along Jeddah Corniche to enjoy the sea breeze and beautiful ocean views. Dine at a nearby restaurant and experience the vibrant city life of Jeddah. Continuing along the Corniche, you will see the King Fahd's Fountain, a beloved landmark and a 30-year-old monument in the Red Sea.
Attraction: Ferry Ride – Red Sea
Although the Red Sea gets its name from the occasional large-scale red algae blooms, its waters are not typically red. What makes the Red Sea unique is its relatively pristine condition, especially along the coast of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, where, despite the constant oil and cargo transport, the natural beauty has been preserved.
Attraction: Jeddah Corniche
The Jeddah Corniche is not only home to numerous five-star hotels, restaurants, and cafes but also features the famous King Fahd Fountain. This is the world's tallest man-made fountain, built between 1980 and 1983. Its impressive water jet has become one of Jeddah’s iconic landmarks.
Accommodation: Sheraton Jeddah Hotel
Day 4: Al-Ula Historical Tour - Arrival and Visit to Hegra Archaeological Site
Upon arriving in Al-Ula by plane and taking a short rest, we will proceed to explore the Hegra Archaeological Site.
Attraction: Hegra Archaeological Site
Hegra, located in the vast golden desert, features 110 well-preserved ancient tombs. These tombs not only showcase the architectural artistry and cultural background of ancient civilizations but also provide visitors with a profound historical experience. Immersing yourself in this historic site, you will feel the grandeur and mystery of ancient societies.
As Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hegra is the largest preserved Nabataean site south of Petra. From the 1st century BCE to the 1st century CE, Hegra was home to 111 monumental tombs, reflecting the Nabataeans' exceptional architectural expertise. It is one of the most iconic attractions in Al-Ula.
Accommodation: Masarat Camp – AlUla
Day 5: Al-Ula Nature and Culture Exploration - Dadan Site, Jebel Ikmah, Elephant Rock & Old Town
In the morning, we will head to the Dadan Site to explore the numerous tombs carved into the red rock cliffs east of the city, which is one of the must-visit attractions here. Next, we will take photos and check out Jebel Ikmah and Elephant Rock. In the evening, we will proceed to the Old Town.
Attraction: Dadan Site
The Dadan Site was once the capital of the Dadanite and Lihyanite kingdoms. This ancient city is spread across rocky peaks and an oasis that spans the valley, with its history dating back to the late 9th to early 8th century BCE (Dadanite Kingdom) and the 5th to 2nd century BCE (Lihyanite Kingdom). Thanks to the prosperity from frankincense trade, Dadan became one of the most developed cities in northern Arabia during the first millennium BCE. On the eastern red rock cliffs of the Dadan Site stand several exquisitely crafted ancient tombs. From a distance, these tombs appear as a black matrix, but up close, their fine craftsmanship becomes evident. The most famous is the Lion Tomb, symbolizing power and protection, possibly the resting place of prominent nobles or royal members. How these tombs, which rise 50 meters above the ground, were sculpted without modern construction equipment remains a mystery, similar to the enigma of the Egyptian pyramids.
Attraction: Jebel Ikmah
Jebel Ikmah is situated in a remote canyon, about a 10-minute drive from Dadan. Ancient caravans passing through Al-Ula left inscriptions here, making Jebel Ikmah site one of Saudi Arabia’s largest ‘open libraries,’ with hundreds of inscriptions and carvings on cliffs and rocks.
Attraction: Elephant Rock (Jabal AlFil)
Elephant Rock is one of the most iconic rock formations in the world and a highlight of the AlUla region in Saudi Arabia's Medina Province. The massive rock resembles an elephant with its trunk touching the ground, and it is known as Jabal AlFil in Arabic. Standing 52 meters high—equivalent to a three-story building—its impressive scale makes it a striking natural wonder that captures the essence of the Arabian landscape.
Attraction: Al Ula Old Town Village
AlUla is located in the northwest of Saudi Arabia, standing amidst vast sand dunes and rugged mountains. It is a pristine natural museum. To the north of AlUla City lies the former old town area, characterized by ancient buildings made of stone and mud bricks, making it one of Saudi Arabia's most captivating historical heritage sites. The area features over 900 residential buildings, more than 400 shops, and 5 town center squares.
