Important Notice
1. Hotel Standards: Hotels in Hainan may have lower standards compared to other provinces in mainland China. During peak seasons or under special circumstances (such as government requisitions), we reserve the right to adjust accommodations to hotels of the same or higher standard. Hotel check-out time is 12:00 PM. If your return flight is in the evening, you can store your luggage at the hotel front desk and enjoy free time or book an hourly room. Twin beds are the default; couples may request a double bed based on availability. Hotels are assigned on the day of check-in, not in advance. The quoted price is based on a double standard room for two people. Triple rooms or extra beds are subject to availability and may include non-standard bedding, such as steel-frame beds or mattresses.
2. Travel Documents: Adults (16+) must carry valid identification (ID for Mainland China residents, passport for foreigners). Children should carry a household registration book (for Mainland residents). According to China Civil Aviation regulations, liquids over 100ml (e.g., beverages, toothpaste) must be checked in; ensure lids are tightly secured.
3. Meals and Dining: We guarantee the meal standards but note that Hainanese cuisine is mild, and prices are higher. Meals may be similar across different restaurants, and we recommend bringing seasonings like pickles or chili sauce. During the trip, avoid consuming raw or undercooked food and seafood, and do not visit unlicensed street vendors. Avoid overeating, drink plenty of water, eat fruits and vegetables, and limit smoking and alcohol consumption. The travel agency is not responsible for any gastrointestinal issues caused by consuming unclean food or seafood.
4. Transport: Tourist vehicles are managed by the Hainan Tourism Automobile Center, ensuring one seat per person. The tour bus fleet is government-managed. Complaints about drivers should be directed to the Hainan Tourism Automobile Center at 0898-66833151. In the event of flight delays or similar situations preventing arrival, travelers who cancel within 24 hours before arriving in Hainan will need to compensate the agency for the incurred costs, including approximately 400 RMB per person for the reserved transportation and other contractual expenses.
5. Unavoidable Factors: If natural disasters (typhoons, heavy rain) or policy changes (e.g., during the Boao Forum) prevent visiting certain sites or activities, we reserve the right to substitute with equivalent alternatives (e.g., Yanoda Rainforest instead of Wuzhizhou Island, the luxury yacht tour substituted with Daxiao Dongtian Scenic Area or Jun Da Car Racing, and the helicopter experience exchanged for a seafood dinner). Complimentary items are non-refundable, and adjustments to the itinerary may be made. Refunds will be based on discounted rates, not listed prices. During the trip, if there is any refund situation, the refund amount will be based on the discounted price of the refunded items rather than the listed price. Some attractions and hotels in Hainan have their own shopping areas for the convenience of tourists. These are not arranged by our agency, and complaints regarding these locations cannot be addressed by us. We appreciate your understanding.
6. Climate and Health: Hainan's climate is hot with strong UV rays and frequent rain. Bring sun protection, sunglasses, hats, umbrellas, and comfortable footwear. It is advised to avoid wearing leather shoes or high heels. To prevent discomfort due to changes in environment during the trip, it is recommended that travelers bring along some common medications, such as those for clearing heat or relieving heatstroke. Do not take medications provided by others. Hainan is a renowned seaside tourist destination, so please bring your own slippers, swimwear, etc. Additionally, pay attention to personal safety and avoid swimming in the sea alone.
7. Free Activities: Avoid independent activities without notifying the guide via text message or in writing, and make sure to return to the group on time as scheduled. For areas with safety risks or poor public security, tourists should avoid visiting. During free time, please travel in groups and avoid going out alone. For tours and activities not organized by our company, travelers assume full responsibility for any risks involved. Any losses or disputes arising from such activities will be the sole responsibility of the traveler, and the travel agency will not be held liable. During nighttime or free time, it is advisable to travel in groups and inform the tour guide. Keep the tour guide's phone number handy, and pay attention to personal and property safety. Valuables can be stored in the hotel's safe at the front desk. Make sure to remember the name and location of your hotel, and be cautious of strangers, especially those with motorized tricycles or distributing flyers on the street. Remember, there is no such thing as a free lunch.
8. Responsible Travel: Travel responsibly and respectfully. Please protect the plants, trees, and historical relics in the scenic spots, avoid graffiti, and do not litter. Respect the customs of local ethnic minorities. Many scenic spots and hotels have nearby street vendors; if you do not intend to buy, please refrain from bargaining. Once a price is agreed upon, not making a purchase can lead to disputes. Keep a calm mindset while traveling, and be patient and understanding, helping one another when needed.
9. Feedback and Complaints: Please cooperate with the guide and fill out the local "Tourist Feedback Form" accurately. Complaints and claims will be based primarily on the feedback form completed on-site in Hainan. Forms that are not filled out or are filled out inaccurately will not be accepted for complaints after returning. If you have any issues with the travel agency's service standards during the trip, please try to resolve them on-site in Hainan. If you are unable to resolve the issue locally, you can file a record on-site. Please note: the time limit for tourism complaints is within 30 days from the return to the place of departure.
10. Optional Activities: Hainan offers a variety of entertainment options, including diving, parasailing, and banana boat rides. In addition to the attractions included in our itinerary, you can also participate in optional activities during your free time at the scenic spots (please refer to the previous page for prices of optional activities and listed rates). Please inform us in advance so that the guide can arrange the best time for these activities and ensure a memorable experience without any regrets.
11. Discounts and Tickets: The quoted price for this product is a comprehensive discounted rate. For tourists from mainland China holding military officer certificates, tour guide certificates, press cards, or teacher certificates, no additional discounts on admission fees can be applied.
12. Schedule Variability: Please be aware that the times indicated in the itinerary may vary due to traffic, queues, or other unforeseen circumstances. Some attractions may require queuing, which might delay or shorten sightseeing time. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Complaints related to waiting times cannot be addressed by the travel agency.
13. Age and Health Restrictions: Due to the specific nature of transportation or activities at certain attractions, there are age and physical condition requirements for visitors. For example, Wuzhizhou Island does not accept visitors over 70 years old, and those 60 years old or above, pregnant women, and individuals with limited mobility may need to sign a waiver before visiting the island, depending on their physical condition. Please be informed.
14. Combined Tours: To control costs and offer better value to our esteemed guests, this product will be combined with similar products for group tours. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your cooperation.
